A new Reports area in Shelf with 10 reports across bookings, assets, and custody. Filter by timeframe, category, and location. Export to CSV or PDF.
Reports is now live in Shelf. A new Reports entry in the sidebar opens a grid of ten ready-to-run reports — no SQL, no separate BI tool, no exporting bookings to a spreadsheet to write formulas.
The first batch covers the questions operations managers get asked most often:
Booking reports — Booking Compliance (on-time checkouts and late returns), Top Booked Assets, Monthly Booking Trends, and a live Overdue Items list.
Asset reports — Asset Inventory (snapshot for audits and board reports), Asset Activity Summary, Asset Utilization, Idle Assets, and Asset Distribution by category and location.
Custody reports — Custody Snapshot, the live answer to "who has what right now?"
Time-based reports include a timeframe picker for last 7 days / 30 days / quarter / custom range. Each report has filters that match its data — status and custodian for compliance, category and location for utilization, and so on. Filters are encoded in the URL, so a specific view of a report can be bookmarked or shared.
Every report exports to CSV. Reports with charts also download as PDF — useful for board packs, audit trails, and distribution outside the workspace.
This is v1 of an ongoing reporting build. More reports — kit utilization, custom field analytics, and state-over-time trends — are on the roadmap.
