An Audit Only Calls Something Missing Once It Is Done

Create an audit over 20 assets and, before anyone had scanned a thing, the statistics tile told you 20 of them were Missing. Nothing was missing. Nobody had looked yet.

Expected assets that have not been scanned now read Not scanned, and they keep that word for as long as the audit is open. Completing the audit is what turns whatever is still unscanned into Missing, which is the point at which the word is actually a finding. You will see it on the statistics tile, on the asset rows, in the Not scanned column on the audits list, in the status filter, and on the PDF receipt.

It is also one word now instead of four. The same set of assets used to be called Missing on the statistics tile, Expected on the asset rows, Pending on the Companion app's audit detail and Remaining on its scanner tab, so two people looking at the same audit on two screens could not agree on what they were looking at. Audit terminology moved into the shared package that already keeps booking and asset statuses in step across the web app and the phone.

The web side is live now. The Companion app picks up the same wording in its next release.

While we were there: an audit's Started time is the moment it genuinely began, and stays that way. It used to be rewritten every time an audit moved back into scanning, so the activity feed could claim one audit had started three times and the real start time was gone.
