Select All Now Stays Inside Your Filters on Tags and Locations

Select all XX entries is meant to mean "everything matching what I have filtered to, across every page". On two lists it was reaching further than that, and the count on screen did not warn you.

• Deleting tags. Filter the tag list down to 3, use Select all, delete — and every tag in the workspace went, taking the categorisation off every asset and booking carrying them.
• Removing assets or kits from a location. Filter a location's items down to 10 laptops, use Select all, remove — and everything at that location was removed.

Both now do what the list in front of you says. The filters you can see are the ones the action uses, and an unfiltered Select all still means the whole list, which was always the intended behaviour for that case.

Two things worth knowing:

• Nothing was ever wrong with what you clicked. The selection dialog had always sent your filters along; the two actions on the receiving end were not reading them. There is no habit to change and no setting to check.
• Explicit selections were never affected. Ticking rows one by one always acted on exactly those rows.

Tag deletion also reports the number of tags it actually removed, rather than a fixed message that could disagree with what happened. Deleting tags and removing items from a location are both permanent, so the count next to Select all is worth a glance before you confirm.
