Commitment to Accessibility
Shelf Asset Management, Inc. is committed to providing digital experiences that are accessible and usable by all individuals, including people with disabilities.
Accessibility is an integral part of our product design, engineering, and continuous deployment process.
We design and test our platform to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and evaluate our product against WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 criteria.
Continuous Accessibility Efforts
Because Shelf deploys updates to its platform frequently, accessibility improvements are an ongoing process.
Our accessibility reviews are conducted using a combination of automated and manual methods, including Lighthouse accessibility scoring, browser-based accessibility testing plugins (such as Accessible Web Helper), keyboard navigation testing, code inspection and validation, user interface component testing, and visual contrast and color analysis.
Current Conformance Status
Based on our most recent evaluation (Accessibility Conformance Report – WCAG Edition, VPAT v2.5, Document Version V5, dated November 27, 2025):
Shelf supports the majority of WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
Some criteria are currently partially supported, specifically:
2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum)
3.3.3 Error Suggestion
4.1.3 Status Messages
Recent updates include enhanced color contrast in select components, consistent focus indicators for most interactive elements, and expanded keyboard navigation support for modal dialogs and skip links.
Remediation for the partially supported items is actively tracked in our Accessibility Conformance and Remediation Form, with improved conformance targeted by Q1 2026.
